Earlier this year, JBL talked about his interaction with The Salt of the Earth in the past and made it clear that he was absolutely blown away by the former AEW World Champion.
While speaking during a Q&A with Gerald Brisco for Sportskeeda Wrestling, JBL addressed the idea of managing MJF and praised the former AEW World Champion. While he expressed uncertainty about working with MJF in AEW, he noted that MJF seems poised to become a movie star with his role in Happy Gilmore 2.
JBL shared that he is a big fan of MJF, recalling a time when they met in England and spent part of the day together after a signing. He described MJF as a smart and talented individual, emphasizing his dedication to the business, as shown by his impressive physical condition.
JBL compared MJFs transformation to Randy Ortons, pointing out how getting in shape can enhance a wrestlers character. Although JBL is unsure about a potential collaboration, he acknowledged MJFs exciting opportunities in both wrestling and film, jokingly expressing concern about MJF calling him out in the ring.
While it may seem unlikely JBL will ever manage MJF, anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if it will ever happen somewhere down the line.
