The storm has resulted in widespread destruction, with a rising death toll currently at 64. Millions of homes have been left without power for extended periods, adding to the challenges faced by the communities in these areas. Wrestlers, promotions, and fans alike have been affected by the storms devastation, as efforts continue to recover from the damage.
In addition, TNA Wrestling initially rescheduled their upcoming shows in Spartanburg due to Hurricane Helene but eventually decided to cancel the events altogether. Cash Wheeler would then reveal the devastating effects of the Hurricane on his hometown in North Carolina.
In response to the devastation, Cash Wheeler set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist those affected by the disaster. Wheeler is aiming to gather supplies, such as food and water, to help people in need, as many are still struggling with access to basic necessities. His efforts will begin in his hometown of Old Fort, North Carolina, and extend to surrounding areas, with all donations and shares helping to support the recovery. At the moment, it has garnered $8,384 of a $10,000 goal.
