During the September 30 episode of WWE Raw, R-Truth made a surprise return to television after being sidelined by Bronson Reed in August. In his first appearance back, Truth found himself in a backstage segment with The Miz and Braun Strowman, where he revealed that he and Miz would team up to face A.O.P. (Akam & Rezar) later in the night.
However, the match took an unexpected twist when The Miz betrayed Truth. Miz landed a sudden kick to Truths face, leaving him vulnerable in the ring. A.O.P. took advantage of the situation and easily secured the victory.
Following the betrayal, R-Truth spoke in a WWE Raw exclusive, where he expressed disbelief over The Mizs actions. Truth speculated that Miz might have been confused, possibly mixing up his past involvement with Judgment Day. Although he hoped it wasnt intentional, Truth said he planned to confront Miz to clarify what happened.
We will have to wait and see whether The Miz will explain his actions as it has become very evident that The Miz and R-Truth week begin feuding soon, something that most fans feel was inevitable.
