Jannik Sinner is set for a couple of mentally tough months as Italian media is reporting that he will learn his fate in his doping case in early 2025.

As you probably know very well by now, the WADA appealed to the CAS about the verdict that the ITIA made in the 23-year-old's case. And since the world No. 1 is set for more hearings and court visits, he could possibly still face a suspension although the ITIA investigation cleared him of any wrongdoing.
However, Sinner is free to keep playing, at least for now. According to the Italian paper La Repubblica, he will also be able to defend his Australian Open title in January since their sources have claimed that the verdict will "probably" be reached in February.
Sinner admitted it wasn't easy for him to deal with everything, now he is in the situation
After it was announced in August that the two-time Grand Slam champion twice tested positive for a banned substance in March, the world No. 1 admitted that he was very stressed during the investigation process. While he felt a major relief after the ITIA investigation concluded, now he has to again battle to clear his name.

What is making it tough is the fact that Sinner didn't expect the WADA to lodge an appeal in his doping verdict.
"Well, we cannot control everything, no? Obviously I'm very disappointed and also surprised of this appeal, to be honest, because we had three hearings. All three hearings came out very positively for me. You know, I was not expecting it. I knew it couple of days ago, that they were going to appeal, that today it's going to go official, so... But yeah, it's a surprise. We always talk about the same thing. Maybe they just want to make sure that everything is in the right position. Yeah, I'm just surprised that they appealed," the Italian said over the weekend in Beijing.
