Bryan Danielsons accolades as a professional wrestler most definitely do not need any introduction, as they proved to be one of the best in the business. His career is synonymous with the Yes! chants, but it appears that WWE has filed to trademark his chant.

Danielson became the leader of the Yes! movement after becoming the top star in WWE and one of the greatest babyfaces in the history of pro wrestling. Danielson shouting the word Yes was inspired by former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez.

After arriving at AEW, Bryan Danielsonadmitted that he wasnt sure if he could use the Yes! chants in the company, but he started doing them towards the end of last year anyway. Danielson noted that he filed a trademark for the chants. However, WWE would then reach out to Danielson for the same.

On September 30, 2024, WWE submitted two trademark applications for YES YES YES. The first trademark covers entertainment services related to wrestling exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers. It includes broadcasts through television, radio, and the internet, along with providing wrestling news and information online. It also involves offering a sports entertainment website, organizing wrestling events and social gatherings for fan club members, and providing online newsletters and blogs about sports entertainment.

The second trademark pertains to clothing and accessories, including tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies, coats, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear, footwear such as shoes and boots, headwear like hats and caps, wristbands, bandanas, and championship trophy belts.

Its worth noting that a trademark filing by Danielson was marked as abandoned on September 20, meaning that the application is no longer active. In contrast, WWEs filings are still active and are currently awaiting examination, so well have to wait and see if Danielson will respond to WWEs actions.
