Special effects final in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G, where the Thai Jasmine Suwannapura (196 63 72 61, -17 strokes) beat Luci Li (71 65 60) with an eagle on the second play-off hole, with whom she had finished the tournament on par.

In the competition two Italians with good results for Benedetta Moresco, 27th with 205 (70 67 68, -8), in her first year on the tour with a card not full, while Roberta Liti, 78th with 141 (69 72, -1), went out at the cut for one stroke too many.

On the course of the Pinnacle Country Club (par 71), in Rogers, Arkansas, in the final round Suwannapura made a 61 (-10) with an eagle and eight birdies, and Li a 60 (-11) with three eagles, seven birdies and two bogeys, one stroke more than the record round of 59 signed on March 16, 2001 by the champion Annika Sorenstam, in the second round of the Standard Register Ping.
On the last hole (par 5) they both tried to win, but an eagle was not enough for both. Then in the playoff on the same 18th after a birdie on the first pass, on the second the Thai again made the eagle, against another birdie from Li.

In third place with 197 (-16) the Korean Sei Young Kim, who had also tried to catch up with her opponents with an eagle to close, in fourth with 199 (-14) the Japanese Mao Saigo and the Thai Arpichaya Yubol and in sixth with 200 (-13) the South African Ashleigh Buhai.
Thidapa Jasmine Suwannapura, 31 years old from Bangkok, is at her third title on the circuit, after those in the Marathon Classic (2018) and in the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational (2019, paired with Cydney Clanton).
Her list of achievements also includes a success on the LET (Indian Open, 2013), one on the Symetra Tour, now the Epson Tour (Vidalia Championship, 2012), one on the Thai LPGA Tour and five on the All Thailand Golf Tour. For this success she was rewarded with a check for 450,000 dollars on a prize pool of 3,000,000 dollars. And this is all about it.
