The wrestling world was abuzz with the release of Netflixs six-part documentary Mr. McMahon, which dropped on September 25th. While the majority of wrestling fans tuned in to get an inside look at Vince McMahons life and career, AEWs Tony Khan admits he hasnt had the chance to watch it yet.

In a recent interview with Quinn & Cantara, Khan explained that his schedule has been packed with both football and wrestling, leaving him little time to catch up on the latest wrestling-related content. No, Ive been so busy with football and wrestling that I have not seen that documentary. Ive not gotten to watch that. Im mostly focused here on what were doing in AEW, Khan said.

When one of the hosts acknowledged McMahons contributions to wrestling, saying, Vince did a lot of wrestling, you have to give him that, Khan responded with some insight into his relationship, or lack thereof, with the WWE Chairman.

Ive never met him and have never really worked with him. I have grown up as a wrestling fan and historian of the pro wrestling business, so absolutely, we love being the challenger promotion and trying to grow and build AEW from the ground up. Its only been five years and weve done a lot in that time.

As AEW continues to expand and cement its place as a top wrestling promotion, Khans focus remains on the future of his company. With AEW Dynamite celebrating its fifth anniversary on October 2nd, Khan is fully committed to continuing AEWs growth rather than dwelling on the past.

Meanwhile, McMahons controversial legacy is far from over. He is currently under federal investigation for allegations related to sexual assault and sex trafficking, adding further intrigue to the Mr. McMahon documentary.

Do you think Tony Khan really didn't watch the documentary or do you believe he was on Netflix refreshing waiting for it to drop? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
