WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austinis one of the most iconic names in the history of professional wrestling, but he hasnt always gotten along well with every pro wrestler. In fact, a former WWE star claims that they suffered a major financial loss after Steve Austin walked out on their match.

In his prime, Steve Austin acted like a true professional and was part of some of WWEs biggest feuds. However, there was one occasion when he refused to show up for a match.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestlings The Coach & Bro Show, ex-WWE star Jonathan Coachman talked about how Austin walked out on him. Coachman explained that there was a storyline where Vince McMahon wanted him to face Austin at a pay-per-view because he was popular as a heel.

Despite having a good relationship with Austin, Coachman revealed that Austin felt it was beneath him to wrestle him, which cost Coachman a significant amount of money. He mentioned that he could have earned an extra $15,000 to $25,000 for that match, but it never happened because Austin didnt show up.

Steve Austin was also once worried that fans wouldnt remember him during his 2019 return. Regardless, Steve Austin did what he felt was right for his career, even at the expense of Jonathan Coachman and there was nothing that would have changed that.
