Jinder Mahals WWE release was a bit more surprising than others, but he hit the indies running. He even had a reunion with the Singh Brothers on the indies. Now he is looking back at his time in the company, and he also felt the need to correct some misconceptions about him today.

The Modern Day Maharaja noticed a story that claims WWE has recently acknowledged concerns regarding the lack of visibility for black male wrestlers on their pay-per-view events.

Jinder Mahal replied to point out the severe underrepresentation of South Asian talent in the company, noting that there is currently only one South Asian wrestler in WWE, Sunny Dhinsa. Despite the fact that over 2 billion people, or approximately one-quarter of the worlds population, identify as South Asian, The Maharaja emphasized that this is still an issue on their current roster.

Jinder Mahal then replied to that post and said, Ive had my time. Here are 3 talents WWE could sign @MustafaAli_X @RealRohanRaja @BollywoodBoyz. So, he may not be looking for a WWE return at this stage in his career, but he would certainly wish the same for those three.

Mahal had a nice run as WWE Champion, and he had another run with WWE after that. Although WWE took him off the active roster during the last part of his run, he still had quite a time in the spotlight. Now, he would like to see the same for other South Asian talents.

As of this writing, WWE has not publicly responded to this controversy. We will keep our eyes open for more updates, including additional tweets from Jinder Mahal on the matter.
