Black Label Pro, the popular independent wrestling promotion, has announced it will be going on hiatus.
The company, which was founded in 2017 and quickly became a fixture on the indie scene, was set to hold its Fancy Wrestling event in Crown Point, Indiana, on October 12th. However, the promotion has now canceled the show, along with all other upcoming events.
BLP shared the news on Twitter/X, where they revealed their decision to take a break for the time being. The post assured fans that all tickets for the canceled events have been submitted for refunds. Unfortunately, beyond the hiatus announcement, no further details have been provided about the decision.
In recent months, Black Label Pro had seen some notable developments. In April 2024, former WWE star Mojo Rawley announced that Paragon Talent Group had become the co-owner of the promotion. This partnership was seen as a promising step forward for BLP, which has been home to many top independent wrestlers over the years.
Black Label Pros most recent event, Crowning Glory, took place in Chicago on September 4th. The show featured appearances by well-known stars such as Mustafa Ali, Jordynne Grace, and Moose. The BLP Heavyweight Champion, Raj Dhesi, also competed during the event.
For now, the future of Black Label Pro remains uncertain. Fans and wrestlers alike are left waiting for more information about the promotions hiatus and whether it will return to the indie wrestling scene.
