Near the end of the match, Page hit Williams with a GTS, but it only led to a two-count. Frustrated, Page reacted, and Punk teased him by holding two fingers in his face, showing how close it was.
Punk later got involved, and Trick Williams ended up winning the match to become the new NXT Champion. After the match, Punk hit Page with his own GTS move, ending the show on that note.
