In January, Cora Jade suffered a torn ACL at a WWE NXT live event and she immediately underwent surgery for the same. Fans felt she would be gone for a very long time but Jade ended up returning on NXT this week and has now called out haters following backlash over her return.
During the October 1 edition ofNXT, Roxanne Perez defended her NXT Championship against Giulia, in what was undoubtedly an incredibly hyped match. Both competitors gave it their all to pick up the win, and there were numerous near-falls throughout.
The match took an unexpected turn when someone in a hooded sweatshirt rushed into the ring and attacked Giulia. This interference helped Roxanne Perez take advantage of the situation and win the match, allowing her to keep her NXT Womens Title. It was later revealed that the mystery attacker was Cora Jade, making a surprising return after being away for a long time due to an injury.
There was a lot of backlash over Cora Jades return as fans wanted Giulia to win, which obviously didnt happen. Cora Jade took to Twitter following her shocking return and called out those who were upset by her return, labelling them Twitter virgins.
Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade also teased a reunion after the match, which is something fans are intrigued by considering the fact that they havent been together since July 2022. Regardless, well have to see how Jade will be booked in the coming weeks, as there is still a lot of excitement surrounding her return.
