Over the past week, parts of the southeastern United States faced widespread devastation due to Hurricane Helene. This was a terrible situation that took the lives of over 160 people. Now we have an update on how Adam Copeland and Beth Phoenix are dealing with the aftermath.
North Carolina was one of the most affected states, which is a popular pro wrestling state. Beth Phoenix resides in the area with her husband, Adam Copeland and their children, Lyric and Ruby. The Glamazon shared an update on Instagram, and in her post, she confirmed that her family is safe and provided insight into the chaos caused by the hurricane.
In her update, Beth Phoenix also recounted a personal story as she said that her daughter developed an infection in the days following the storm. Phoenix searched for a functioning emergency room to seek treatment, and during her journey, she picked up two nurses who were looking for a ride. Thankfully, they made it to a hospital, where her daughter received the necessary care.
AEW star Cash Wheeler, who also lives in the region, has started a GoFundMe fundraiser to provide relief through financial support and supplies for recovery efforts. His campaign has raised over $56,000 so far, with contributions from notable figures in the wrestling community, including Tony Khan, Bret Hart, and Wheelers tag team partner Dax Harwood.
