Nikki Bella has taken legal action against her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, following a domestic violence incident that occurred in late August 2024.

According to TMZ, Nikki filed for a restraining order on Monday, and a judge has since granted the order. Artem is now prohibited from contacting Nikki, their son Matteo, or coming within 100 yards of them, their home, and more, with the exception of court-ordered visitation.

This follows an earlier report that Artem was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge after an altercation with Nikki. The Napa County District Attorneys Office later declined to file criminal charges against him. However, Nikki has now made the decision to pursue legal protection for herself and her son.

In her sworn declaration, Nikki described the events that led to Artems arrest. She alleged that Artem, who had recently been cut from Dancing with the Stars, had grown increasingly angry and lashed out at her over small things, including how their sons English muffin was toasted. According to Nikki, the situation escalated to the point where Artem tackled her and pinned her to the ground outside their sons room after a heated exchange.
