CM Punks return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 brought a ton of excitement his direction. There were also fans who immediately wondered if his wife, AJ Lee, may be coming next. Its been nearly a year at this point, and fans havent seen her yet, but thats not for lack of trying.
AJ Lee responded to a WWE fan on social media who encouraged her to return and support CM Punk. Lee is married to Punk and has been referenced during her husbands rivalry with McIntyre. Recently, McIntyre destroyed a bracelet with her name on it as a message to Punk.
A fan shared a video asking AJ Lee to return to WWE because she allows her husband to come out of the house looking good. The former champion replied to the fan, stating that she was just being generous. Hahahaha Im just generous like that, she wrote in response.
AJ Lee has not competed in a match since March 30, 2015, on WWE RAW, where she teamed with Naomi and Paige to defeat Natalya and The Bella Twins in San Jose, California. While it remains uncertain if or when she will return, it is clear that fans want to see her back in WWE.
The Second City Saint is set to compete in a Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre tomorrow night at WWE Bad Blood. Naturally, he could use his wife by his side, but he may have to settle with a television call after his brutal match in Atlantas State Farm Arena.
Only time will tell if AJ Lee returns to WWE. She has a lot of things going on, with her writing and other projects. WWE fans would certainly love to see her. If anything, we know that she will be cheering on her husband from home.
