Cody Rhodes entrance music, Kingdom by Downstait, has become a fan favorite in WWE, with the crowd enthusiastically joining in to shout Woah during the song. While its undoubtedly one of the most electric moments in any arena, WWE commentator Pat McAfee recently had some fun with the fact that fans might not know much beyond that key lyric.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, McAfee humorously pointed out that the crowd primarily tunes in for one specific moment. So 99% of the audience doesnt know the lyrics. They just rock out until the one part. Just the woah, McAfee joked.
Pat also noted that after the cameras go off and he sticks around for autographs and pictures, Rhodes theme tends to get played on repeat. At the end of the night I wish they would play any song other than that song because they play it over and over and over to the point where its too many woahs. Youre gonna OD on the woahs at this point. Too many.
Despite McAfees playful critique, theres no denying the powerful connection between Rhodes theme song and the WWE Universe. The energy during Rhodes entrance is electric, with fans eagerly awaiting the chance to belt out the famous woah in unison.
