Ricochet, who had been with WWE since 2018 beforeleaving earlier this year, has now officiallyjoined AEWs roster and competed in a few matches already. With that said, not everyone is a fan of his in-ring style, and it appears he faced backlash for going after fans who criticized his style of wrestling.

During GLEATs October 6th show, Ricochet made his return to Japan for the first time since 2017, as he teamed up with CIMA and competed in tag team action, which also featured El Hijo del Vikingo.

Ricochet showed off a lot of high-flying action, as he and Vikingo pulled off counter after counter by showing their incredible athletic ability. However, a lot of people simply didnt enjoy this type of wrestling at all.

Ricochet took to Twitter and uploaded a clip from the match where he pulled off lots of high-flying moves, as he called out people who didnt like his in-ring style and labeled them cheese curlers and told them to suck it.

Unsurprisingly, this led to a fan of backlash from fans. One fan outside asked if it was in Ricochets contract to become a whiner after joining AEW, claiming on behalf of others who believe Ricochet has regressed since the move. Ricochet simply called that fan a cheese curler.

A fan later urged Ricochet to stop responding to critics, saying everyone is entitled to their opinions. In response, Ricochet explained that when someone starts using foul language against him simply because they dont like his wrestling style, they lose all credibility in his eyes. He also made it clear that he holds a strong opinion about people who act that way..

Ricochet also mocked a fans looks by comparing the fan to a fan man who is seen sleeping on the sofa, after the fan stated that Ricochet turned into an annoying person after leaving WWE.

Regardless, Ricochet will always express himself and never be afraid to stick up for what he believes in, especially if he thinks someone is criticizing him for no reason whatsoever. Nonetheless, well have to see how Ricochet fares in AEW, as he most recently had a solid match with Will Ospreay on the 5-year anniversary of Dynamite.

Do you believe everything Ricochet said is warranted? Does he get criticized too much? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
