WWE held the Bad Blood event at Atlantas State Farm Arena, and fans were eager to see how the Hell in a Cell match would unfold. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre kicked off the show with a level of violence not seen in WWE for years. However, for some reason, WWE chose to make a video of McIntyre getting stitches after the match, private.
Before the match, Drew McIntyre promised fans a display of violence and brutality that would leave them uneasy. Their rivalry was intense and personal, making a Hell in a Cell match the only fitting conclusion as fans couldnt think of a better way to end their trilogy series.
This matchup stemmed from their ongoing issues dating back to the Royal Rumble and was brutal from the very start. Both competitors wielded weapons like steel steps, wrenches, and a toolbox to inflict pain on one another.
Both wrestlers were bleeding early in the contest, with McIntyre frequently taunting Punk throughout the fight. The atmosphere was electric as both men poured everything they had into the battle. Ultimately, CM Punk picked up the win after delivering a GTS to McIntyre, using a chain wrapped around his knee to amplify the blows impact.
Drew McIntyre was banged up after the match andrequired 16 stitches after he suffered a bloody injury on his head. In fact, WWE uploaded a video on their YouTube channel which saw Drew McIntyre getting stitches and dropping several F-bombs throughout the video. However, the company decided to make the video private for undisclosed reasons.
Perhaps Drew McIntyres constant F-bombs might have been the reason why WWE made the video private in the end. Nonetheless, well have to wait and see whats next in store for The Scottish Warrior. After all, he impressed many fans with his performance at Bad Blood and they cant wait to see what he will do next.
