Kawhi Leonard hasnt exactly been blown away by any of his Clippers teammates at training camp.

The Clippers 2024-25 roster will feature some new faces, including Kris Dunn and Derrick Jones Jr., after the departure of Paul George.

The Clippers star told reporters that nobody stood out to me so far.

No doubt Kawhi will play a massive role in the teams title chase, but he needs to get that pesky knee injury right first.

When asked if he will take the court before LAs season opener at the Inuit Dome against the Suns he said theres always a buildup especially in the position Im in.

Leonard has spent the offseason and training camp strengthening his surgically-repaired right knee.

I feel good, Leonard told ESPN. Just been taking my time, getting stronger and getting ready.

Were just taking it slow, day by day and just trying to get me back on the floor. Once those conversations come, well see what theyre talking about [on the best approach for back-to-backs].

Leonard hasnt been able to play a full slate of NBA games since tearing his right ACL in the 2021-22 season.

He wants to play in as many games as possible, but thats certainly not his main goal.

This is what I work for, Leonard said. I strive to get a championship and Im not out there to try to [solely] play 82 games. Im trying to win, even though [playing as much as I can] thats obligated for me. I try to. But it hasnt worked out [the last two postseasons] so well see.
