WWE is always planning ahead for their Premium Live Events, which is a key factor in their current success. With Bad Blood now behind them, the companys attention has shifted to Crown Jewel. There are new rumors suggesting that WWE may change the champion vs. champion matches for the upcoming show and the possibility of that has now been addressed.

At the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Triple H shared exciting news about the upcoming Crown Jewel event in November. He revealed that starting this year, WWE will hold an annual competition at Crown Jewel, where the top male and female wrestlers from each brand will battle it out.

While no championships will be defended, the winners will earn the title of Crown Jewel Champion. The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Triple H also introduced a new championship belt, featuring 50 karats of diamonds, emphasizing its grand design.

Ahead of GUNTHERs World Heavyweight Championship defense against Sami Zayn on Raw, WWE released a poster promoting future matchups, including GUNTHER vs. WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, and a Womens Championship match featuring Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan. After GUNTHERs victory over Zayn on Raw, its more or less confirmed GUNTHER will face Rhodes at Crown Jewel.

Theres been talk that the womens championship match at Crown Jewel could change, especially with Rhea Ripley targeting Liv Morgan and Tiffany Stratton holding the Money in the Bank briefcase.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, theres no chance that Saudi Arabia would release a misleading poster. He explained that while WWE might swerve fans, Saudi Arabia does not. He noted that once he saw the poster publicized, he knew Sami Zayn wouldnt win his match against GUNTHER.

This suggests that WWE intends to keep the planned champion vs. champion matches intact, meaning GUNTHER vs. Cody Rhodes and Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan are set to take place at Crown Jewel. Despite any earlier speculation, it appears these matchups are part of the official lineup for the event, so well have to see what other matches WWE will confirm for Crown Jewel in the coming weeks.
