John Cena has a longstanding relationship with The Rock, as they have feuded back in the early 2010s. The Rock recently returned to WWE and called out John Cena and now Cena has reacted to the same.
After the main event of Bad Blood, where Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match, The Rock made a surprising comeback. He didnt say anything but gave both Rhodes and Reigns an intense stare, leaving fans wondering what he might do next.
Right after his appearance at Bad Blood, The Rock took to Instagram to share a video where he addressed the current state of WWE, hinting that changes are coming soon. In his promo, he also threw some jabs at Cody Rhodes and John Cena. Regarding Cena, The Rock looked at a photo of Cena on top of a production truck and simply said, Look at you, go eat some Fruity Pebbles.
John Cena clearly took notice of what The Rock had to say to him, as he took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of the Fruity Pebbles, the popular cereal that The Rock uses to refer to John Cena all the time.
The Leader of Cenation also believes a match with The Rock as part of his retirement tour is not up to him as he wants to craft compelling stories instead. Nonetheless, well have to see if Cena and The Rock end up having yet another face-to-face moment, similar to what happened at WrestleMania 40.
