In her weekly Mone Mag newsletter, Mercedes Mone took credit for Stephanie Vaquers signing with WWE, reflecting on their experience together at AEWs Forbidden Door event. Mone recalls that Vaquer arrived just an hour before the doors opened, and they had limited time to discuss their match.

Despite the challenges of communicating in different languagesMone in English and Vaquer in Spanishand both wrestlers feeling jet-lagged and hungry, they managed to put on a fantastic match. Mone believes that their match a role in Vaquer being signed by WWE just days later.

As for Stephanie Vaquer now, she made her debut during theOctober 8 episode of WWE NXT where Vaquer teamed up with Giulia and took out Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Nonetheless, Vaquers match with Mone was certainly an eye-opener for many, so perhaps Mone has the right to take some credit for Vaquer joining WWE in the end.
