AEW star Stokely Hathaway has finally shed light on the unexpected split between him and former TBS Champion Kris Statlander following AEW All Out 2024.
After Statlanders hard-fought victory against Willow Nightingale in a Chicago Street Fight, she mysteriously distanced herself from Hathaway without much explanation on AEW television.
However, on October 11, Hathaway took to social media to reveal the apparent reason behind the split, and its a jaw-dropping one. Posting a screenshot of an invoice from Statlander, Hathaway explained that shes billing him for a whopping $781,820. The invoice includes charges for physical therapy, emotional damages, and the loss of her shot at the CMLL World Womens Championship.
Hathaways reaction to the hefty bill was as bold as ever, with the caption, She done lost her damn mind.
While the fallout of their partnership hasnt been fully addressed on AEW programming, Statlander seems to be moving forward as she finds herself embroiled in a growing rivalry with TBS Champion Mercedes Mone and Kamille. Meanwhile, Hathaway has been busy trying to recruit Private Party into the AEW tag team division.
