John Cena announced that he will be part of WWE RAWs transition to Netflix. He also revealed that his final wrestling appearances will be at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania in 2025. In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Jerry Lawler was asked if its time for John Cena to retire. Jerry Lawler shared his thoughts on why he doesnt think John Cena should retire. Lawler expressed that he doesnt believe anyone should fully retire, as there are still many things they can do without officially calling it retirement. He added that when he hears someone talk about retiring, it makes him think theyre nearing the end, and he wouldnt want to use that word for Cena.

John Cena also explained whyhe will retire from in-ring competition in 2025, so we will have to wait and see whether The Leader of Cenation will stay true to his word and end his in-ring career for good, or if he will simply end up coming out of retirement somewhere down the one.
