The wrestling legend added, The reality is, right now, I need neck surgery. Thats coming sooner rather than later. Theres going to become a point where this is untenable for me. Despite his love for wrestling, Danielson acknowledged the toll the sport has taken on his body, explaining that once he undergoes the necessary neck surgery, his future in the ring remains uncertain.
This isnt the first time Danielson has faced serious health concerns. He recently shared that he lost feeling in his legs during a match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW Dynamites Fifth Anniversary show, further highlighting the risks hes taken in his storied career.
