We have officially entered the 365 days of the 2025 Ryder Cup. The One year to go event was held at The Times Center in Manhattan on Tuesday morning, a press conference held by the two Captains. Bradley and Donald answered questions from journalists present and connected via Zoom.

Both confirmed the possibility that LIV Golf players will be able to be part of the two Teams, even though we know very well that, at present, the requirements are very different for overseas players compared to those that must be met by aspiring members of Team Europe.

The journalists' questions became more specific, and each of the two skippers had to answer a very similar question. Keegan Bradley addressed the topic of Phil Mickelson's presence at Bethpage, in any role. I havent really thought about it yet, to be honest.
I personally dont think hes really interested in joining. I owe Phil a lot, and I think hes done a lot for the US Ryder Cup team, but Im not sure he wants to be a vice-captain.

Next, Luke Donald spoke about Sergio Garcia. The Spaniards desire to be part of the Team Europe family is well known. Well, Donald revealed some recent developments regarding Garcias journey. Weve talked a little bit.
Hes been considering rejoining (the DP World Tour, Ed.) He should follow all the rules and regulations like everyone else. If he does that again, hell be eligible to play in the Ryder Cup.
Garcia is Team Europes top scorer, and thats a given. But it is also true that next year he will turn 45, and finding a place in a team of young talents may not be easy. The final decision would still be up to Donald, who could spend one of his picks to bring a veteran accustomed to the unfair cheering of the Americans onto the court in the Bethpage arena. There are 350 days to go until the next Ryder Cup.
