Bryan Danielson made a major statement by defeating Swerve Strickland to win the AEW WorldChampionship at the All In pay-per-view, but his reign ultimately ended at WrestleDream at the hands of Jon Moxley and now Danielsons role in choosing Moxley as his opponent has been revealed.

AEW WrestleDream 2024 was truly a night of memorable moments and incredible matches that kept fans engaged throughout the show. The main event saw Bryan Danielson defend his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley, in what was a highly anticipated match.

However, it was Jon Moxley who ultimately defeated The American Dragon after choking him out. Following the match, the Blackpool Combat Club brutally attacked Danielson, resulting in him being stretchered out to the back, as fans were worried about his well-being.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, it has been reported that Bryan Danielson specifically requested to lose to Jon Moxley and bring his full-time run to an end at AEW WrestleDream.
