MVP has broken his silence on Swerve Stricklands decision to reject his offer during the AEW WrestleDream event, and he isnt happy about it. After making his AEW debut last month at Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium, where he attempted to turn Swerve Strickland against Prince Nana, MVP was left disappointed when Swerve decided to stay loyal to Nana at WrestleDream.
During the Tacoma, Washington event, Swerve made his highly-anticipated return to AEW television for the first time since All Out, only to turn down MVPs services. What followed was an intense brawl between Swerve and Shelton Benjamin, with MVP left reacting from the sidelines.
Taking to Twitter after the event, MVP didnt hold back, calling Swerves choice a Bad business decision
MVP also reflected on their history, which dates back to their days in DEFY Wrestling. The promotion even re-shared a match between the two following the segment. MVP further commented on this history, saying, I told you, we have history! I just hope for his sake he doesnt become a historical footnote.
Theres more to come, as rumors swirl around former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley joining AEW and possibly linking up with MVP and Shelton Benjamin. The trio could bring a powerhouse dynamic to AEW if this storyline continues to unfold.
