The term never say never in professional wrestling always holds true as one can never tell when a pro wrestler might just make their return to the industry. In fact, it appears that former WWE star Ezekiel Jackson hinted at making his in-ring return after 9 years.
Over the years, many WWE stars were seen as having the potential to achieve great success, but not all of them reached that level. One of those stars is former Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson, who faded from the spotlight. In WWE, he was known as a dominant force in the ring, able to overpower almost anyone. He also holds the distinction of being the final ECW Champion before WWE retired the title. Jackson won the belt after defeating Christian, but the ECW brand and the title were quickly discontinued after that. He remains friends with his former co-workers despite that as well.
Recently, Jackson has been sharing videos and photos of himself training, showing off an even more muscular physique than when he was with WWE. A fan took to Twitter and asked him if he could still wrestle given how fit he looks. Jackson simply replied, Sooonnn, hinting at a possible return to the ring in the future.
If Ezekiel Jackson does make a comeback, it would be his first match in nine years. His last bout took place on October 18, 2015, for Westside Xtreme Wrestling in Germany. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Jackson will make his triumphant return to in-ring action, as fans would love to see it happen.
