The Undertakers impact on pro wrestling is undeniable, having dedicated over 30 years to entertaining fans. Even though hes retired, he continues to follow the current wrestling scene. Recently, he shared his thoughts, criticizing that many wrestlers today dont have the same pride in being a professional wrestler as previous generations did.
The WWE Hall of Famer has always maintained his character throughout his career, as it was very obvious he has been very respectful of the industry and being proud of being a professional wrestler in general.
While speaking on a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker talked about kayfabe and how the magic of wrestling isnt protected like it used to be. Undertaker said theres a big push now to show what really happens behind the scenes. He mentioned that while todays wrestlers are more athletic and talented, many dont have the same pride in being a professional wrestler. Some still care about it, but overall, he feels that the dedication to keeping wrestlings traditions alive isnt as strong anymore.
This isnt the only time The Undertaker criticized modern-day professional wrestling as he believes many pro wrestlers nowadays are fixated on light tubes. Nonetheless, The Phenom will never be afraid to speak his mind, especially when it comes to the business and he has no intention of changing that.
