Nick Kyrgios continues to make his feelings clear on Jannik Sinner as the Australian tennis star suggested that the Italian shouldn't even be playing after the current world No. 1 won the Shanghai Masters.

This past week, the 23-year-old continued his outstanding 2024 season after beating Novak Djokovic 7-6 (4) 6-3 to win his first Shanghai title - seventh main glory in 2024 - and 17th overall title. Also, he owns an impressive 65-6 record this season.
However, all of this is coming while Sinner is facing uncertainty over his doping case after the WADA appealed to the CAS. In his last three tournaments since the ITIA announcement, the Italian won the US Open and Shanghai and also finished as runner-up in Beijing.
"Every player beaten by Jannik Sinner must be thinking by the same thing. This (expletive)shouldnt even be on the court right now," one tennis fan wrote on X.
Kyrgios agreed with that statement: "Yep. Ridiculous lol."

Kyrgios has called out Sinner numerous times
Since late August, the 2022 Wimbledon runner-up has been probably the harshest critic of how the Italian's doping case was handled. In the Australian's mind, it was "ridiculous" that the current ATP world No. 1 avoided any kind of suspension after twice failing a doping test in March.
While Sinner has been subjected to some extreme scrutiny from Kyrgios, he has been refusing to react to it so far.
I dont know. I dont want to respond to what he said. Everyone is free to say everything. Its ok. If that is the case, lets see. Its gonna be different for sure (laughing). I dont know what to say, the reigning US Open champion told reporters in New York when asked how he felt about the Australian's comments.

Since Kyrgios is planning to make a comeback at the start of 2025, there would certainly be a lot of attention on the match if he and the Italian met for the first time on the court.
