Karrion Kross has been waiting for a significant opportunity in WWE, which arrived through his current faction, The Final Testament. They were involved in a months-long feud with Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits heading into WrestleMania 40. Recently, Kross addressed rumors surrounding alleged backstage issues with Lashley and clarified his comments about him, putting an end to the speculation.
Before their match at WrestleMania 40, Bobby Lashley appeared on The Bump to discuss the upcoming contest, where he teamed up with The Street Profits to face The Final Testament. Looking to move past the rivalry, Lashley described his feud with Karrion Kross and AOP as feeling handcuffed.
Karrion Kross didnt take too kindly to what Bobby Lashley had to say as he took to Twitter and called out Lashley for having the privilege to even say he was handcuffed, promising that he would smash Lashley on WrestleMania Sunday.
There were rumors about problems between Karrion Kross and Bobby Lashley during their feud, but Kross recently cleared things up, saying there were no real issues. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Kross explained that everything between him and Lashley was just part of the storyline. He has a lot of respect for Lashley and even told him after their match how much he admired him, especially from his time as ECW Champion.
Bobby Lashley eventually left WWE and is now AEW-bound, while Karrion Kross continues to feud with The New Day. Regardless, fans are certianly relieved that there was no backstage issues between Kross and Lashley and thats all that matters in the end.
