After meeting David Howard Thornton, who plays Art the Clown, at a Comic-Con horror convention, Jerichos involvement in the franchise deepened. When director Damien Leone began planning the sequel, he offered Jericho a role in Terrifier 2. Reflecting on the experience, Jericho said he was thrilled to be part of the project, even joking about filming his scenes at a mental institution in Staten Island. Jericho sees himself as part of the grassroots movement that helped boost the cult status of Terrifier and its continued success.
