La Catalina picks up a big W during this weeks CMLL Viernes Espectacular. She defeated AEWs Timeless Toni Storm in Storms first match in CMLL and in Mexico. Despite the defeat, Storm says she will return.
The final moment of the match had La Catalina hit a diving splash on Storm to get the pin. La Catalina is scheduled to be involved in the 2024 Womens Grand Prix alongside Willow Nightingale, Zeuxis, Red Velvet, Persephone, and more.
Storm wasnt the only AEW talent to make her debut in CMLL on Friday as the ROH Womens TV Champion Red Velvet took part in the event as well. She was victorious as she scored the win for her team which included Viva Van, Alex Windsor, and Samantha Black. They defeated Amapola, Sanely, Metlica, and Olympia in a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls match.
Lastly, Persephone defeated Zeuxis in the finals of the 2024 Womens CMLL Universal Title Tournament. The former tag team went one-on-one with Persephone coming out on top with a springboard frog splash to get the win.
