Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, was released from WWE in September, which definitely shocked many fans. During his time in WWE, he gave fans a ton of memorable moments, and that includes his Money in the Bank Cash in and now he has revealed the scrapped plans for the same.

The Nemeth Brothers recently appeared on the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw podcast. During the episode, they talked about various topics, including their motivation to pursue professional wrestling and their experience training under legendary figures like Dusty Rhodes.

JBL, who was on commentary during Nemeths major career moment, recalled how he had never witnessed anything quite like it. Nic Nemeth shared how, prior to his eventual Money in the Bank cash-in, fans had started to doubt whether he would succeed with the briefcase. Nemeth explained that the reaction from the fans was a key factor in making that moment special. He mentioned how at the time, he was constantly attempting to cash in but would often be stopped, like being hit with a Brogue Kick or something else.

Nemeth revealed that the original plan was for him to cash in the briefcase and win immediately. However, he had to persuade Vince McMahon to extend the match and include several false finishes before ultimately defeating Del Rio.

Nemeth cashed in his Money in the Bank opportunity on the April 8, 2013 episode of WWE Raw for the World Heavyweight Championship, beating Alberto Del Rio. It turned out to be one of the best cash-ins ever and fans were very happy for The Showoff and thats all that matters in the end.
