WWE, known for upholding tradition, aims to keep its annual events running as long as possible. They recently announced several live events as part of their annual Holiday Tour. However, the post-Christmas show at Madison Square Garden was notably left out, leading to uncertainty about the status of the event.

WWE took to their websiteand announced nine live events for its holiday tour. The tour kicks off on December 26 in Jacksonville, FL, and features additional stops in Tampa, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Orlando, Chicago, Miami, Houston, and Detroit. Friday Night SmackDown will take place in Tampa on December 27, followed by Monday Night Raw in Houston on December 30.

Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select reported that WWE has shared press releases and promotional material for their live events through the end of the year, but the MSG show is missing from the list, raising questions.

Despite no official word, theres still hope the show will happen. Some WWE talent have confirmed that the December 26 MSG event is still listed in their internal app. However, its unclear if that will change soon. Earlier in the year, WWE indicated that the show was still planned, but by the fall, they stopped giving updates about it.

While the December 26 event is confirmed, WWE is currently prioritizing upcoming events, including an October SmackDown taping at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the December 14 Saturday Nights Main Event at Nassau Coliseum. Regardless, well have to see when WWE will make the announcement for the Madison Square Garden show, as it might not even happen anymore.
