WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff, widely respected for his invaluable insights into the pro wrestling industry, has regularly been criticizing AEW for a lot of thingsand he has made it clear he has no intention of working in AEW.

If it wasnt clear already, Eric Bischoff isnt the biggest fan of AEW. He doesnt even believeAEW is contributing anything to the world of professional wrestling, unlike what WWE does.

On a recent episode of the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked if he would consider being the General Manager of AEW if he had the chance to compete with WWE again. Bischoff responded that he would not take on that role. He expressed hope that AEW can improve and find its direction, but acknowledged the ongoing backstage drama in the company.

Bischoff noted that if he were younger, he might have jumped at the opportunity, especially given the money being discussed backstage. However, he feels that at his current stage in life, he wouldnt want to be involved. Bischoff emphasized that if he were to step into AEW, he would be blamed for its problems, and he wouldnt even want to appear on camera. He mentioned that even if he had a good relationship with Tony Khan, he still wouldnt want to be part of the show because its not as enjoyable for him as it once was. He indicated that if AEW were in a better environment and had more momentum, he might consider it, but right now, it just isnt fun for him.
