The WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event took place on October 5 in Atlanta, Georgia, coinciding with Game One of the NLDS between the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies. Michael Cole, a lifelong Mets fan, didnt want to miss the game.

While speaking during an interview withSal Licata of WFAN, Michael Cole revealed that while announcing at ringside, he had the game playing on his phone with the volume down. He recalled that as he was calling the action for Bad Blood, he was also cheering for the Mets, pumping his fist and jumping up and down, which caught the attention of his partner, Corey Graves.

The Mets won Game One and eventually took the series, moving on to the NLCS. Currently, they are trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 in the NLCS, with Game Six scheduled for Sunday, October 20. As for Michael Cole, he confirmed signing a long-term deal with WWE so he will be sticking with the company for a long time now and fans couldnt be happier about that fact.
