90min will present the Smart Choices award series for the first time celebrating the best players and managers in Major League Soccer.
In partnership with Continental Tires, Smart Choices will be a five-part series. The editorial pieces will focus on a specific award for certain players based on exceptional performances and moments that have defined the MLS regular season.

- 10/21 - Goalkeeper and Defender (Rock Solid)
- 10/22 - Midfielder (Maestro)
- 10/23 - Forward (Catalyst)
- 10/24 - Manager (Conductor)
- 10/25 - MVP (Headliner)
The Major League Soccer regular season wrapped up Oct. 19 on Decision Day with history being made in the Eastern Conference. Inter Miami, after wrapping up the Supporters' Shield, made history by setting the new single season points record at 74. As well, Lionel Messi became the all-time leading goalscorer in club history.
In the Western Conference, late heroics from Houston Dynamo against LA Galaxy resulted in LAFC finshing with the number one seed. Both Los Angeles teams were level on points, but LAFC pipped its rival to the top seed on goal differential.
