The AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view took place on October 12th at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington and it was truly a memorable show from start to finish or good reason. In fact, the pay-per-view buy numbers for the show have been revealed as well.

The pay-per-view was headlined byBryan Danielson defending his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley and it saw The Purveyor of Violence defeat The American Dragon for the AEW World Championship, Adam Cole also made his shocking return during the show and many other moments took place throughout the night.

According to Dave Meltzer onWrestling Observer Radio, the buy rates for the WrestleDream pay-per-view were the same as those for All Out, with both events achieving 105,000 buys. Additionally, the television buys for WrestleDream showed a slight increase of 1.6% compared to the previous month.

WrestleDream 2023 is estimated to have concluded with approximately 110,000 pay-per-view buys, which means that the 2024 event saw a decrease of 5,000 buys compared to the previous year. Nonetheless, with Full Gear being AEWs next pay-per-view event next month, it remains to be seen how the company will book their programs as we head towards the event in November.
