Josh Hart finished the preseason with just two points on six field goal attempts in a whopping 90 minutes on the court and Jalen Brunson says its all his fault.

In four preseason games, Hart looked a little lost and expressed as much after the Knicks loss to the Wizards last Friday.

Im lost. I have no idea, Hart said on his role. Theres a couple of days until Boston. So whether thats trying to get a rhythm with that starting unit or we give somebody else a look and my role changes and comes off the bench and go with that unit.

So just trying to figure it out right now. I pretty much have no idea. But well see what happens in Boston.

Brunson took Harts performances to heart, if you will, and lumped the responsibility onto himself.

I have to be a better leader and make sure hes ready to go by game one, Brunson told The Post on Sunday. Its on me.

The Knicks star even suggested the team could move Hart to the second unit.

I feel like Josh is a very unselfish person. There may be times he thinks, I need to get somebody else involved, Brunson said. But from my point of view, I just feel like we need to be better as teammates to make sure were all on the same page or were all giving each other confidence regardless. That starts with me.

Brunson did decline to comment on whether he thought Hart could benefit from coming off the bench, especially given his current form and all the changes that have been made to the team over the summer.

Thats his opinion, Brunson said about his college teammate and fellow podcast host.
