WWE aims to put on a great show for all its fans, but it has recently faced criticism for some racially insensitive comments and other issues. A controversial remark made by Carlito during RAW this week sparked significant backlash, and it seems he has received backstage heat as a result.
Carlito was previously a member of the LWO but turned heel earlier this year by attacking Dragon Lee. He is now part of Monday Night RAW and has joined forces with The Judgment Day. While WWE appears to have plans for him, things havent been going too well for him lately.
During the October 21st episode of RAW, Carlito had a backstage segment with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. After IYO SKY and Kairi Sane expressed their frustrations, Carlito made a controversial remark, stating, I gotta learn Chinese. This comment sparked a lot of outrage from fans on social media, with many expressing disbelief that WWE would allow such a line to be included.
According to WrestleVotes during a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, Carlitos controversial line was not planned and caught many people in WWE by surprise. The Judgment Day member is facing some backstage heat because of it. Its unclear how serious the situation will become, but it doesnt seem like a good look for Carlito at the moment.
We had previously reported that there has been internal discontent regarding the incident, as quite a few people backstage were upset over Carlitos controversial line. Therefore, well have to wait and see whether WWE will decide to take action against Carlito, as things definitely do not look good for him at the moment.
