Max Caster, widely recognized for his clever raps and lively performances as part of The Acclaimed in AEW, often makes headlines for his questionable actions. Recently, he supported an indie promotion that used Drew Gulaks harassment allegations in a storyline, which led to a lot of criticism against him. In fact, Caster has now responded to a death threat over his support of the angle.
The segment in question involved Drew Gulak speaking with Masha Slamovich, asking if he had ever made her feel unsafe or uncomfortable in the locker room. When she said no, Gulak chillingly replied, Well, you should have, before attacking her. This blended real-life accusations with the storyline, causing major backlash from fans who felt the promotion was mishandling a sensitive issue.
Max Caster added to the controversy by tweeting, Love this!!! in response to the segment, making it clear he approved of it. Unsurprisingly, he got a ton of backlash for his stance, and he would end up deleting the tweet.
A fan took to Twitter and claimed that if he saw Max Caster in a ditch with self-inflicted wounds, he would be happy. The fan also criticized AEW President Tony Khan for keeping Caster employed and stated that they would no longer support AEW by attending events or buying merchandise as long as Caster remained part of the company.
Max Caster obviously saw the death threat the fan gave him and unsurprisingly, he shut down the fan by calling himself the Best Wrestler Alive and made it clear he didnt care what the fan had to say.
Max Caster simply loves stirring the pot and getting reactions from people on social media, even if its mostly negative. However, no one should ever wish death upon another person no matter what, so Casters response was not an unwarranted one.
