Macho Man Randy Savage is beloved by pro wrestling fans and inspired numerous generations of pro wrestlers after him. However, he never quite got along with Jim Ross and it appeared he almost attacked Ross once as well.

Back in 1993, Ross worked with WWE Hall of Famer Randy Savage as part of the commentary team at WrestleMania IX and at the King of the Ring pay-per-views and also on a few episodes of Monday Night RAW.

Randy Savage, known as one of WWEs all-time greats from the late 1980s to early 1990s, had a stint as a commentator alongside Jim Ross in 1993 and 1994 before returning to wrestling with WCW. On his Grilling JR podcast, Ross talked about how he didnt always get along with Savage behind the scenes.

Ross explained that while Savage was a superstar, he could also be difficult. He recalled an incident where Savage confronted him at a TV studio over something Ross supposedly said during an interview. The situation nearly turned physical until Gorilla Monsoon stepped in, ending the confrontation just in time.
