Top Dolla was released from his WWE contract last year, making it the second time he has faced this situation. Since then, he has been thriving in other promotions, but it appears that Dolla has now confirmed when his deal with TNA Wrestling will expire.
The former WWE Superstar wasted no time making an impact after he made hisdebut at GCW. Now known as AJ Francis, he would also become a star in TNA Wrestling,something that he appreciates Scott DAmore for.
While speaking during an interview with Tom Campbell from Cultaholic Wrestling, AJ Francis stated that his contract with TNA will end at the end of 2024. The former Top Dolla is open to re-signing with TNA if the deal is good. Francis explained that he would sign a new contract right away if the money and terms are right. His current deal lasts until December 31st, after which he will be a free agent.
Francis stressed that its important for him to feel valued in contract talks, focusing on whether TNA will support him as he deserves and how much he will be paid. Francis mentioned that TNA has given him many chances over the past year and thanked Tommy Dreamer for believing in him when others did not. He feels he has shown that he is one of the top stars and heels in the business during his time with TNA.
Francisis the leader of the promotions First Class faction and he is aformer TNA Digital Media Champion to boot. Therefore, well have wait and see whether he will sign a new contract with TNA or if he will take his skills elsewhere, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
