Cassidys comments come following a brutal segment on AEW Dynamite, where the Blackpool Combat Club assaulted his close friend Chuck Taylor. The attack culminated in Claudio Castagnoli stomping a steel chair wrapped around Taylors neck, right before Cassidy arrived to intervene. Reflecting on the incident, Cassidy told the podcast:
