TNA Wrestling continues to build momentum, and the Bound for Glory 2024 event at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan, delivered a night to remember. Among the events biggest moments was the emotional induction of two pivotal figures into the TNA Wrestling Hall of FameRhino and Bob Ryder.
The Hall of Fame inductions kicked off the night with segments dedicated to both men, celebrating their monumental contributions to TNA Wrestling. Bob Ryder, one of the companys founding figures, was honored as a pioneer of the Internet Wrestling Community. Former TNA stars and colleagues paid tribute, recalling Ryders lasting impact on the industry. James Storm even credited Ryder with being instrumental in his career, saying, There would probably be no Cowboy without Ryder.
When the tribute returned to the live arena, the crowd erupted into heartfelt Thank You Bob chants, underscoring Ryders lasting influence. Eric Young gave a touching speech to induct Ryder, reflecting on his dedication to the business and his pioneering spirit.
Next up was Rhinos induction, complete with a video package highlighting his best moments exclusively from TNA, as the company doesnt own the rights to footage from his WWE or ECW careers. Wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer took the stage to induct Rhino, delivering a light-hearted speech that referenced his unfortunate luck during past inductions.
I inducted Team 3D and got hit with a 3D. Then I inducted Raven and ended up with a DDT on the floor. This is not a trend I want to continue with The War Machines Gore, Dreamer joked, drawing laughs from the crowd.
Rhino entered the arena wearing a striking red suit, receiving a warm reception from the TNA faithful. His induction marked a significant moment in his career, honoring the years he dedicated to TNA Wrestling. Fans acknowledged his lasting impact with thunderous applause as Rhino accepted his place among the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fames elite.
With the addition of Rhino and Bob Ryder, the TNA Hall of Fame now includes some of the most influential figures in professional wrestling history.
