TNA Wrestling has been on an impressive rise, and Bound for Glory 2024 was no exception. Held at the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan, the event captivated fans with its high-energy atmosphere and thrilling matches. Among the standout moments was the high-stakes battle for the TNA X-Division Championship, a title known for showcasing some of the most intense action in wrestling.
In the TNA X-Division Championship match, Mike Bailey faced off against El Hijo Del Vikingo in a fast-paced, high-intensity showdown. Both competitors brought their A-game, because they wanted to show up for one of TNAs biggest shows of the year.
These two kicked off the show, and they did so with a handshake before the war started. There was one spot near the beginning where Vikingo teased a knee injury, but he was okay to continue the match.
This match continued as they put each other to the test with high-speed offense and then they traded chops in the center of the ring. However, Bailey switched things up and nailed some leg kicks instead.
Bailey nailed his finisher, but Vikingo kicked out so this match continued. Fans were on the edge of their seats as Vikingo reversed a flamnigo driver into a Canadian destroyer. Then Bailey went outside the ring and Vikingo nailed him with a beautiful corkscrew moonsault after walking the ropes to get to him.
Vikingo followed that up with a Canadian Destroyer on the ring apron. Then Bailey was able to stop Vikingo on the top rope and nail a top rope move for the win to retain the X-Division title.
