In an interview with Gulf News, the Pole revealed that he had the opportunity to consult with many of his colleagues, who pointed out that life on the PGA Tour can be quite lonely. Meronk wasn't sure of what to expect when moving to such a prestigious tour, especially since many experiences from others were not particularly ideal. In the end, he realized that LIV Golf was the best option for him.
Meronk explained that joining LIV Golf allowed him to remain in Dubai, a location he enjoys, while also reducing the number of tournaments he plays. He mentioned feeling exhausted after participating in 27 events last year.The greater number of events is the reason why many PGA Tour players decide to be part of LIV Golf.
He expressed that the decision to join LIV Golf has greatly improved his life and enjoyment of the sport. In contrast to his experience on the PGA Tour, he described it as a "rat race," where players are primarily focused on their own interests and tend not to communicate with each other.

What many have suggested seems to be confirmed by the Polish golfer. Several players have pointed out that life on the PGA Tour is often lonely and that many golfers are focused only on themselves. Robert MacIntyre also shared similar impressions upon joining the PGA Tour, stressing that he faced challenges in adapting to the new environment.

The Polish golfer recognized this dynamic and understood that LIV Golf is where he envisions himself for the remainder of his career.

However, Luke Donald did not select him, making it difficult for Meronk to accept that decision. Despite this setback, the Polish golfer remains focused on his goals and stressed that his manager had the opportunity to speak with Luke Donald to clarify the intentions of the European Ryder Cup captain.
