Many fans were shocked by Chris Beys injury, and hes already on the road to a comeback. It will be a while before Bey is able to get back into the ring for action, but a ton of people are pulling for him.
TNA Wrestlings website noted that Chris Bey started his rehabilitation from neck surgery on Sunday, October 27, in Detroit, where he will undergo multiple daily rehab sessions under the guidance of specialists. Bey is showing steady progress, lifting the spirits of those around him, including family members, close friends, TNA Wrestling management, and roster members.
Ace Austin has been with Bey since the Sunday night in-ring accident. Reflecting on their journey with the TNA website, Austin recalled how they became a team after his return from Japan in 2022. We made a choice to come together and give it everything we had, Austin said. Our pairing worked so well from the beginning, largely because we share a similar work ethic and a deep love for wrestling. We could both see the raw potential we had in front of us if we just put our heads together and really became a team. We were friends before, but we really became partners fast and even quicker became brothers.
Chris Beys early days in TNA saw him facing Austin in his first Xplosion match shortly after Austins signing. He was gracious, selfless, willing and incredibly talented, Austin said. When TNA signed Chris, he was right in the mix with me for the X-Division Championship. As rivals, we grew immense respect for each other and had classic matches. As tag-team partners, weve been able to lift each other up and support each other in so many ways, both as wrestlers and as humans in this world.
Ace Austin went on to pontificate about how much he and Chris Bey have been through in their career. Obviously, he doesnt want that road to come to an end.
Ace Austin went on to assure that, Chris wont be alone for any of this. Hes going to be surrounded by love and support from every single one of us. The road to recovery is going to be easy as, ABC.
There are many ways that fans can support Chris Bey. Not only can fans still chip into his GoFundMe, but ABCs new t-shirt is now on sale, and its quite nice. That Bullet Club style t-shirt will see all proceeds go to Chris Bey.
It is apparent that Chris Bey has a lot of people rooting for him in the pro wrestling business, and throughout the fan base. Hopefully, all of that support will give Bey the freedom to stay at home and rest up, because he has a lot more to do in his pro wrestling career after his injury is behind him.
